Dr Kerr was appointed an Early Detection Programme Manager at Cancer Research UK in 2016. She is responsible for managing a biomarker discovery programme and initiatives to improve industry engagement and the translation of diagnostics. In 2014, she completed a PhD at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, examining ErbB4 splice variants as biomarkers and/or molecular targets in glioblastoma. Following this, she completed a Post-Doctoral position imaging respiratory disease in vivo at Synchrotrons in Australia and Japan.
