Liquid Biopsy

This session explores minimally invasive methods for detecting disease-related biomarkers in blood and other body fluids. Researchers are invited to present studies involving circulating tumor DNA, cell-free DNA, circulating tumor cells, extracellular vesicles, microRNAs, and other circulating molecular indicators. Relevant fields include oncology, molecular diagnostics, clinical pathology, genomics, and translational medicine. Suitable abstracts may address early cancer detection, tumor profiling, disease monitoring, treatment response, and the identification of emerging drug resistance. Studies comparing liquid biopsy with tissue biopsy or evaluating its clinical accuracy are also appropriate. Researchers may discuss technological advances, analytical methods, assay development, and challenges in clinical implementation. The session aims to highlight liquid biopsy approaches that support less invasive diagnosis, longitudinal disease monitoring, and personalized treatment decisions.
