NGS Applications
This session focuses on the use of next-generation sequencing technologies in identifying genetic variations and discovering biomarkers. Researchers may submit abstracts involving whole-genome sequencing, whole-exome sequencing, RNA sequencing, targeted gene panels, and other sequencing-based approaches. Relevant fields include genomics, molecular genetics, oncology, infectious diseases, bioinformatics, and precision medicine. Suitable topics include mutation detection, gene expression profiling, inherited disease diagnosis, tumor characterization, and pathogen identification. Studies investigating sequencing-based biomarker discovery, clinical validation, and interpretation of genomic data are encouraged. Research addressing sequencing accuracy, data analysis, variant interpretation, and clinical implementation is also relevant. Contributions may demonstrate how NGS technologies improve disease classification, identify potential therapeutic targets, and support personalized treatment. Abstracts involving innovative sequencing workflows and diagnostic applications are welcome.
